The East African Safari Classic Rally is an event that captivates not only the motoring world's imagination but everyone, SAFARI - the Swahili word for "Journey". It has everything - spectacular country, wildlife, impossible speeds through bush and desert, fantastic classic cars and a bunch of Lunatic drivers, fighting each other and Africa for that elusive Safari win, but for most a finish is as good as a win. It is fast, dangerous, and spontaneous, crammed with drama, and rightly claims its title as, "The Worlds Greatest Rally".
BH Motorsport - A team of avid Safari enthusiasts are taking on
this event at only their second outing. Our young team tackles this mammoth
rally in the smallest car in the line up so far, a 1973 DATSUN 1200, the B110
Series. Balvir Grewal and Harpal Sudle's passion for the Safari saw them
complete the event in 2007 at their very first attempt. 2009 promises to be
even better...!
